My Fitness Trip- Introduction

Are you fat? Do you wanna burn those extra fats? Do you wanna calculate your calories? Do you wanna know the technique to lose weight like really fast? Like in just 2 hours? Then obviously this is not the place. Its just a blog bro! I totally don't understand why I am taking this big a risk. I am not a type of person who normally stick to the plan and most of the time end up doing some extraneous activity. But as they say, passion and commitment for something can drive us to any extend we want. So yeah, here I am, sharing my story to anyone who reads my blog, but mainly to myself. My story wouldn't be complete without me mentioning about UAE. We are both very well connected. More like a connection between Batman and Joker. Long story short, prolonged job hunt and bundles of depressions (due to job hunt) stressed me out (which is another story for later) for which the only solution I found in was EATING collaborated with bunch of series like Game of Thrones, Sherlock Holm...

Love after an Arranged Marriage…..!! (PART 2)

Love after an Arranged Marriage…..!! (PART 2) I saw him just once and I couldn’t decide if this was the guy I had to live my entire life with. Really?? My mind was blank. I was already 56 years in the eyes of my neighbors. They even spread rumors like ” Her parents have been searching for a groom since past 5 years.” I was like…..what?? That is when I dint even finish my 12th standard. Typical neighbors. Marrying of their daughters from 10th standard and getting restless if any girl exceeding that age is still single. I was 22. Too much for them. All said. The guy was cool, Mba graduate from the UK and what more own business in UAE…!! I got married. I smiled in my wedding pictures just because I wanted it to turn out good in the album. But deep inside myself I found someone chaining me deep down to the ground cutting of my feathers. The pain of realization that I wasn’t a single sank deep in me. Slowly. The first 2 months of my life then was a night mare. I had t...

Love After an arranged marriage (part 1)

Love after an Arranged Marriage…..!!!! ( Part 1) In love marriage….you find your soul mate, give him all your love and then get married. It’s a rabbit in action. In arranged marriage your family finds the soul mate, you only “see” him, try hard to believe that he is the one, get married and slowly…..very slowly start giving him all your love. It’s a tortoise in action. It was hard for me to get back into writing after a long gap. (Thanks to some Indian authors whose books inspired me to write again.) My engineering life and my work life had all set me on for some unknown journey I had begun with no special purpose. But as far as an Aries woman is considered, finding fun and adventure is what turns me on. I enjoyed every step I took. I learned from the few great mistakes I made. I made everyone happy if they were around me. I left no hint to trace once I left. Life was an amazing travel guide for me. The more I traveled…the more likely was for me to take shelter. ...

My sleepmate

The morning dews drew close to my window.. When sunrays tried to peep into my eyes.... I heard a voice from nowhere then.... Like a meloncholic wandering for smile..... My hands wandered all around.... The voice of him had drained me then.... To the pool of a vague awakening...... But then He laid silently next to me when my hands found his head all well and fair ..... With half open eyes I gazed at him.... He made my eyes bulge out at once .... The time showed 9 and I was late!!! Once again I missed my morning alarm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

COLLEGE DRAMAS...!!

It was one of those days. Those days when I wake up by the noice literally created by my ever irritating hostel mates (i would rather call them 'homates')and see them well dressed in uniform reminding me that I am once again late to college. Those days when I have my breakfast in a hurry forgetting what actually I just ate and rush to college in just two minute for bell to ring. The most interesting part is that I'll have majority of the homates with me....Coz thats how HOSTELERS are...!! I always get stuck wondering if we all took part in next Olympics....HALF A KILOMETER IN JUST 2 MINUTES....!! Amazing....!! As soon as we reach the class the lecturer will be already there and my sweetest friends force me to open the door. Slowly I open the door and *smile...smile...smile* (but that doesnt work most of the time). "Hashba...! Where were you??? Hostel is not in the next district for you to be late right???........blah blah blah...." starts the teacher.... An...

Mindwander...!!!

Sitting in the bus returning home from hostel listening to the mix of songs played backgound.. this always get me to a lot of mind work. The excitement of getting back to  home sweet home, hugging Haifa and giving choclates to Hadi and my sweetest nephew Fellah who surround me and hold my legs as soon as I reach home. They treat me as a long ago lost sister as in the old bollywood movies who came back home after years and years. The warmth of getting back in moms hands and my elder sister waiting for my stories.... A flood of thoughts goes across my mind this time... the rush in the bus...that cold wind that tries to take away my scarf along with it and the faces of absolute strangers lost in their own thoughts. When the bus pass by small towns or villages I get to see a lot of people peeping into the bus, some trying to get into the bus and some who wasnt good enough in athletics and miss the bus. The song keeps changing and along with it changes my mood. Some songs are so c...

The witty toungue with an attitude! !!

As usual I was sitting dumpstuck in class. Since our lecturer wanted to make the "Extra ordinary guys" of our class sit in the front bench, she asked the girls of the front bench to sit somewhere at the back. And so came ' HUSNA' ; THE WITY TOUNGUE WITH AN ATTITUDE who came and sat next to me....!!       With  the new shining braces on, she smiled at me and opened her note book which looked more like the cover page of a sketch pen. Full of colors running from every corner of the book; red, green, blue, black and even she drew double underlines for each topic. At that very minute I realised that she was the only person left on earth who still dint lose the hope of this college being a SCHOOL!! SO again I started yawning and moving around when the lecturer taught something which I actually felt like sitting in a spanish class; COULDN'T UNDERSTAND A WORD!!!! I heard the lecturer ask;"so after this what will we do??" .Silence. The whole class was pin drop...
